It’s important to give students a chance to interact outside of the classroom and extracurricular activities and organizations are a great way to do that. E.C. Goodwin Technical High School has a wide range of options including everything from student council and National Honor Society to green technology club and robotics team.

Make the Grade

The Make the Grade after school program is designed to help students improve literacy and numeracy skills. Students can receive extra support in academic subjects from certified teachers.  Website

Music Performance Club
E.C. Goodwin students with or without formal music making experience are invited to join the Music Performance Club!

HOBY (Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership)
An international organization that promotes leadership skills and networking in high school sophomores.

National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is an organization promoting recognition for students with outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service.

SkillsUSA

Student Council
The Student Council represents the voice of the students in the democratic management of student affairs at Goodwin Tech. It is the organization through which the administration, faculty and staff as well as the student body cooperate in addressing the concerns of the school.

Newspaper Club
The Newspaper Club focuses on a monthly publication that sheds more light on E.C. Goodwin, our staff, and students.

Green Club
The Green Club operates primarily in the Spring and lets students garden and plant new plants within the school courtyard.

Club Day- Club day is held every other Tuesday for an hour to start the day. Kids get to go to a club that matches their interest. From RC cars to learning sign language. The staff within our building is leading our students in discovering new interests outside the classroom.
